Course Description
Yoga is essentially a spiritual discipline based on an extremely subtle science, which focuses on bringing harmony between mind and body. It is an art and science of healthy living. The word ‘Yoga’ is derived from the Sanskrit root ‘Yuj’, meaning ‘to join’ or ‘to yoke’ or ‘to unite’
We empower students with physical, mental, and emotional well-being through yoga practices with the curriculum curated by experienced yoga trainers.
History:
Yoga originated in ancient India over 3,000 years ago, with roots in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism, and evolved from spiritual practices to a global phenomenon. The foundational texts, including the Rigveda, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, and Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, shaped yoga’s philosophy and practices. From ancient India, yoga spread to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and eventually the West, transforming into diverse modern styles and fusion practices.
