Personal profile:

“Color has been my everlasting joy”; and the canvas with infinite possibilities as there are a number of designs in nature and surroundings. Born in the Steel Town of Rourkela, in Odisha, India; an MBA in Human Resources; had a promising corporate career of more than a decade but it just wasn’t enough for me.

I wanted to explore the creative urge, a hobby which got endorsed as a full time passion. Never had a formal training into Art, I ventured into this unknown world not knowing where it would lead me. Mostly Self-learned with a scholarship holder from Madrid Academy of Arts for the Drawing Program.

In the past couple of years I have won many awards, exhibited my paintings in several group shows and have gathered accolades for my good work. Demonstrated live art demos in Universities, Schools, Cafes, Restaurants. My paintings have also found place in peoples’ creative spaces. I paint ordinary, mundane objects around me to make them extraordinary, peoples faces, postures to tell their stories and also have an exceptional taste in painting Landscapes for its serenity, boundaries and the context,

‘Every form of art is interactive. It is not the artist’s interpretation alone but the viewer’s perception that completes it’.
